This will be the fifth Family Funday of Musicmaking generated by Fife Festival of Music with lots of fun things to interest people of all ages. Bring the family, bring your neighbours, borrow your neighbour's children and come along - for some fun with music.

On Sunday 19th November at Viewforth High School, Windmill Campus, Windmill Road, Kirkcaldy, KY1 3AL, Fife Festival of Music will present its 2017 ‘C’ period event, a family fun-filled musical afternoon. FFoM will have its own stall promoting its existence in the music community of Fife.

‘Come and try’ workshop sessions will be available for samba, drum kit, ukulele, singing and music making for the very young. There will also be short informal performances by local musicians - ensembles from Fife Strathspey and Reel Society and Dysart Silver Band - and the final event will be a 45 minute family concert given by the highly entertaining, hugely talented and colourful 'Travelling by Tuba', all the way from Manchester. There will be face-painting, a quiz, colouring-in, as well as the FFoM shop selling pens, pencils, notebooks, cards, and 'musical' gifts.

Doors open at 11.30am and the official opening will be at 12 noon by Fife Council Depute Provost Cllr. Julie Ford.

With support from the Barbara McManus Memorial Fund and FFoM itself, admission is free for all.

Open to all ages, families, friends, parents, children (under 12s must be accompanied).
