Music In celebration of the Silver Anniversary of The Fife Festival of Music in 2005 we thought it would be fun to build up a list of people who have appeared in the Festival over the last quarter of a century and find out where they are now.

| Roy Bell | c1984 - Flute Class Winner | Lives London and is prinicpal Flute with the Haydn Chamber orchestra. Also with the Salomon Symphony Orchestra, The Westminster Philharmonic, The Lambeth Orchestra and Chelsea Opera Group. Orchestra manager for Midsummer Opera and been designing opera in Denmark for last 6 years. Currently Head of Department on an animation feature for 20th Century Fox. |

| Gillian McLean | Appeared in the first festival (previously competed in Perth). From memory entered in the woodwind (oboe), piano and female vocal categories. Can't remember if I won but I do remember getting a certificate. | Martha Ann Wilson (now Brookes) | Competed from 1981 (the First Festival) to 1984. Played in over a dozen classes and won the Seafield Colliery Cup for Brass playing in 1981,82 & 83 and the Charles Duncan Trophy, for Accordion playing, in 1982 & 1984. | Studied at the RSAMD Junior Academy (thanks to advice from the Festival adjudicator). Now principal trombone for "Viva" orchestra (Derby) and for Birmingham Opera Company as well as freelancing and teaching in 5 schools. | 9th March 2006 |
